I find that critics who focus on identifying problems aren't often the best at coming up with solutions. This is always the way when a critic or a debater tries to tear something down because of its flaws, and someone in the audience asks, "But what are the solutions? How can we improve the situation?" These are separate matters that may require different skillsets to puzzle out. Seeing into the future isn't my forte, nor is it anyone's, I expect. There are futurists out there, sure, but it's a kind of gambling.
I'm pessimistic, though, too, for what it's worth. Yet that's more like a reflection of character than knowledge of what's going to happen.
But I think I'll try to write one more on economics to tackle the question of what should be done about the fraud.
