Thanks. Much of my writing is pretty dark, but I wouldn’t call myself a pessimist exactly. I just haven’t yet gotten to the light side of my worldview on Medium. My values revolve around creativity and thus are largely aesthetic, and I toy with pantheistic formulations, assuming we could use an unembarrassing religion that suits our zeitgeist.

No, I don’t have kids. I have two nephews and a niece, though. I’m from Toronto, Canada, a place that’s known for being polite and boring. But I’ve been something of an outsider since I got into philosophy as a teen.
