Thanks. Indeed, the talk of infinity in theology is strange. In fact, it's strange everywhere, including in science and math. It looks more like an appeal to mystery. The point is that an infinite thing would be not finite. Cantor showed how infinity works, to some extent, in set theory. But scientists generally don't like it when infinities show up in their theories. They take infinities to be signs that the model is flawed.
