But I should point out that the question about sovereignty was not sociological but about the definition of capitalism. Would the sovereignty of power distinguish capitalism, say, from communism? I'd say that money talks in capitalism. Money, of course, affords you power, so the two are connected. But capitalism channels power through a medium of exchange.
