Thanks for lightening your bizarre and off-base criticism with your ignorance about the meaning of the word "demagogue." If only Trump supporters knew what that word means, and knew something of the ancient philosophical critique of democracy, they might not have fallen so easily for Trump's demagoguery.
I understand that Trump's supporters may feel they're on the side of the righteous resistance against tyranny. But a rebel alliance becomes a counterproductive laughingstock if they have no idea what they're doing. At least Luke Skywalker was trained to be a Jedi. Trump's supporters are the blind being led by the blind.
Just imagine if Luke were perfectly clueless so that he wouldn't even have known the meaning of the word "lightsaber," let alone how to fight an evil empire. If Luke were to insist he's one of the good guys even under those laughable circumstances, his arrogance could be explained away as a Dunning-Kruger effect.
Good intentions aren't enough. You have to know what you're doing too. And the white supremacists, libertarians, and white evangelicals hardly have good intentions in the first place. They're acting from self-entitlement, resentment, and bad faith.
