But I asked about a possible connection with that publication because "deconstruction" seems to have a double meaning in this context. Liberal Christians there speak of "deconstructing" their faith, meaning breaking it down to its essence (as in fundamentalism), except that the essence for liberals ends up overlapping a lot with secular humanism.
