Sure, but that point's in danger of committing the genetic fallacy. How we stumble on existential reflections may be accidental, but that doesn't necessarily affect the profundity of what we've come to recognize. Just because prehistoric people may or may not have had time for philosophical reflection doesn't mean the philosophical problems are contrived or empty.

We could say the same about the bourgeoise that have no time for philosophy or art. Does that busy, materialistic class's preoccupations entail that countercultural insights are bogus?
