Some deep thoughts there.

I'm not sure if the universe can be said to know anything outside of what the creatures that evolve within the universe know. Don't you need a brain to know something? But perhaps knowledge can be described abstractly as the processing of information which unfolds in the evolution of galaxies and solar systems. There have been some interesting science fictional takes on this idea.
