So you're siding with collectivism over individualism. I'm not really taking a stand on that in this article, but I agree that there are plenty of powerful criticisms of individualism that could and should be made. I've criticized Western values (neoliberalism, consumerism, scientism, humanism, etc.) in lots of other articles.
