When explained scientifically, social differences would indeed by value-neutral. But who says we must confine ourselves to scientific objectivity when thinking about cultures? People face moral choices because we must choose what to do with our life, where to live, what sort of government to prefer, and so on. In thinking practically about society and history, we inevitably make judgments. Just because wokesters are hypocritical in not wanting to admit that they too make such collective judgments, doesn't mean everyone must be equally disappointing.
