Since I don't talk about other Jungians in the article, I changed the title. But Peterson is close enough to being a Jungian. He may combine that stance with others that Jungians don't like, but I show in the article how basic Jungian concepts can lead to Peterson's patronizing view of religion.
My main point here is that even on such a literary view of religion as an unconscious expression, atheists can reject those expressions that are inferior on aesthetic grounds. Just because there are universal themes in literature, doesn't mean all literary expressions are equally valid.
