Saying that you "object to the ethos of MAGA and Trumpism" is weak, though. It's as weak as Kamala Harris seemed in the face of Trump, which is largely why she lost. She looked weak, hollow, and fake because she couldn't say what she meant.

It's politically correct in postmodern liberal circles to be averse to issuing negative judgments since the presumption is that everyone is equal. All cultures, too, are supposedly equal so it's always villainous to condemn something. That relativism is unsustainable and foolish.

The notion that empathizing with MAGA would resolve the American culture war is a Bambi-like fairy tale. That's not how cults work, and we're fools if we deny the psychological reality of evil.
