Right, now we know the universe extends far beyond our solar system. We know the inhuman scale of nature since we know a lot more about its age, size, and subatomic foundations. Our knowledge will indeed likely keep improving, but that obviously doesn't change the fact that first-century Jews knew a lot less about nature than twenty-first century scientists.
