Right, but the change of perspective typically entails that our personal distinctions are illusory. Those distinctions are the secular and exoteric religious foundations of our rights as individuals.

Clearly, the mystic would need a monistic reconstruction of those rights or be forced to admit that mysticism entails amorality and nihilism via a transhuman perspective of all-encompassing unity and cosmic majesty that shatters all our parochial conceptions of value.
