Remember, the distinction between humanists and animalists isn't the same as that between humans and animals. I'm not saying conservatives are animals.

I'm saying liberals are humanists who insist on everyone's human rights, whereas conservatives reject that humanism, which means they think there's no essential difference between people and animals. So conservatives are the ones who treat everyone effectively like animals. Specifically, they impose dominance hierarchies and caste systems on everyone., so that only an elite minority lives the good life as gods/people.
