But if you're saying the speculation is preposterous and irresponsible, do you think it's more rational to suppose that ants understand everything humans do? Is it rational to assume that ants know about quantum mechanics and black holes? Do you think ants can distinguish between a huge human and any other relatively huge animal? How would ants tell the difference? Do their senses reach that far, with no technological extensions?
