Okay, but I think you're saying that natural events are unplanned, wild, impersonal, and amoral. So why would a Buddha who's identified with that cosmic totality be compassionate rather than selfish? Why wouldn't such an enlightened being be as amoral as the whole of nature? The Buddha would be something like an Ubermensch, as I argue here:
