Because the documentary Inside Job showed that economists didn't recently have to disclose conflicts of interest. That might have changed in the AEC's professional code of conduct after the 2008 debacle, but can you confirm there are still no loopholes? I went over all this with Loren in an earlier exchange.

What do you expect to show from looking at their papers? That those top economists are scientific? I'm not even sure what claim of mine you're supposed to be contesting.
