Of course, social patterns emerge in groups. But the US is ideologically individualistic, meaning that that's the ideal there, for the liberties of each individual to be protected. I wasn't saying there's no such thing as a group of individuals in capitalistic societies. That would be absurd. Rather, I was talking about the ideals that inspire Westerners and especially Americans, which differ from those that operate in much of China. Do you deny there's such a cultural difference?
