Of course. Philosophical naturalism entails support for science, and science is all about obtaining knowledge of nature. The existential point, though, is that the more we know about nature, the more we're alienated from nature's inhumanity, so the more we retreat to our artificial refuges. Whether that's good or bad, it's a way of understanding history.
