Nonsense. I'm not talking about the whole history of both parties, including all the political realignments. I'm talking about how these parties have been for the last several decades. I'm also not really talking about the parties as institutions, but about their voter blocks and leaders. It's not the DNC as an institution that can't do politics, but the people who've been running it since the racist Southerners switched to voting for the Republicans in the 1960s.
