No, the fabric of Judaism was split by the destruction of Jerusalem and the Jewish Temple in one of the wars between Jews and Rome in 70 CE. Thereafter, some Jews started a new religion, later called Christianity, while other Jews redefined their traditions along rabbinical lines and their religion became the new orthodox Judaism.
If Christianity only perfects Judaism, why not call your religion "Judaism"? Why give it a different name? Could it be because you worship a man as God, whereas Jewish scripture is crystal clear that that's blasphemous and polytheistic? Christianity is obviously paganized Judaism and therefore it's always been heretical to pure, traditional Jews.
