Math isn't necessarily objective. I argue otherwise in those two articles. The Kantian view makes it transcendental, as does Lee Smolin's view of its evocative, game-like aspect.

Scientific claims may not always be mathematical, but they usually eschew natural language in favour of an artificial one, to leave out emotions, intuitive metaphors, and archaic connotations.
