Luckily, Americans can travel between states, so the failures of one state aren't the end of the world. Once Democrats take back Congress and the presidency, presumably they'll pass a law to override the Supreme Court's blunder too. So it's just a matter of temporary inconvenience for the more responsible citizens. Then again, if Trump wins in 2024, all bets are off.
