Living in the moment might be worse than a deepity since it's part of an attack on thought itself, which leaves the initiate open to be exploited and defrauded, as is the norm in these sorts of guru, cultish relationships. But I doubt "living in the moment" is defined so rigorously as to entail giving up entirely on thinking about the past or the future.
