The Christian concept of deified "Logos" comes from Philo, Heraclitus, and the Stoics and from personified Wisdom from Proverbs and the other sapiential books of the Bible. Philo of Alexandria harmonized Jewish "Wisdom" with Stoic "Logos." The Gospel of John likely got the idea from Philo.
