Certainly, theologians have argued for theism. The arguments are all fallacious, as modern philosophers have shown. What remains, then, are the stories (myths).
Speaking of which, "injustice" isn't the only negative judgment we can make. Injustice would be relative to certain social laws, and if nature were godless, the universe wouldn't be subject to such laws. Hence, no natural event could be unjust. But we could apply negative aesthetic judgments, as I've argued elsewhere, noticing, for instance, the monstrousness of godless physicality (see the bottom two links).
