It's a little tricky because he doesn't seem like just another charlatan guru. He's mainly a cognitive scientist, but he also acts as a guru when he speaks on these philosophical and religious topics. I admire how he crosses academic borders, but I think there are some suspicious blindspots in his worldview.
If he becomes famous like Jordan Peterson, he might submit to temptation and become a full-blown cult leader. More likely, though, he'd peddle some hackneyed hybrid of science and Eastern religion.
