It sounds to me like a scientific rewording of the perennial spiritual discourse: knowing our true, inner selves and so on. The difference is that the scientific discourse should be non-normative, as in morally neutral. So there's no scientifically stated obligation to do anything, including identifying with quantum phenomena (even if that were possible).
