It doesn't help, though, that there have been doomsayers for centuries whose predictions have all come to naught. Even the scientific environmentalists keep updating their predictions as we neglect their warnings. They say there will be such and such effects by this date, if action isn't taken to reduce carbon emissions by X amount, and when that date rolls around, and there's no drop in emissions, the climatologists keep it upbeat and optimistic, and shift their goals to a new date. All the while, they hide behind the flexibility of their models. Of course, they can't expect to know exactly what will happen because climate is largely a chaotic system, in the technical sense. You seem to be treating it as an exact science, though, as though you have a crystal ball.
