It depends how stronly "physicalism" is defined. Token physicalism is consistent with property but not substance dualism. Type physicalism is inconsistent with property dualism, and would assume not just that mental properties supervene on physical ones or emerge from them, but that mental properties can be reductively explained in physical terms.
