It depends how many of the Trump supporters are only trolling. There will certainly be more right-wing violence in the US over the next several years. Depending on what happens to Trump, there may be more large protests against Biden.

I'm writing another article on how all of this counts towards the abject embarrassment of Democrats. Support for Trump is like support for a ham sandwich: it's effectively a protest vote, which means the Democrats should feel insulted that they're unable to garner much more support in opposition to the crazy cultish GOP. Why aren't Democrats sweeping the board like Reagan did? I know the structural problems (voter suppression, the growing urban vs rural divide, etc), but a stronger party would be doing vastly better than they are against a fake party this insane and reckless.
