Is red your favourite colour? Because this is yet another red herring. You're talking about differences in subject matter (re: physics and biology), whereas I'm talking about differences in method and in institutional rigor.

If so-called scientists don't agree on their fundamental concepts because they lack a rigorous theory of their primary subject matter, why call them "scientists" in the first place? Philosophers don't agree on the basics since they're divided roughly between the analytic, continental, and Eastern schools. So philosophy isn't a science, and philosophers are up-front about that. Why do economists pretend they're scientists just because they use math and scan statistics? It's not good enough, Loren.
