Indeed, there would be plenty of overlap between Islamic and Christian theocrats. Theocracy was an aspect of what I'm calling "medievalism" since although there was some division of labour between church and state in Europe, Christianity ruled in Christendom, meaning that other religions were demonized, and heretics were punished.
