Indeed, there are different kinds of wrongness and absurdity. I was attempting to explain the existential kind, and it does have to do with a clash between subjective and objective perspectives. It's existential because we're stuck with both perspectives.

You're right about the spiritual disciplines and the possible elimination of subjectivity. I've written elsewhere about some strengths and weaknesses of those disciplines.
