Indeed, I don't address all the varieties of Buddhism. I focus on what I consider the core of early Buddhism, the basic four noble truths. The question is what those truths entail, and whether their implications are obfuscated by many of those later Buddhist interpretations, some of which may amount to political propaganda in the Straussian sense. See Nagarjuna's double truth teaching.

I'm not clear on what the first half of your comment is saying. Are you saying Buddhism is as dualistic as monotheism? Or are you saying I'm projecting Western dualism onto Buddhism?
