Indeed, and I made much of that chapter in some of my other articles on Peterson. Lots of critics have done the same, and Peterson has complained that he's been misinterpreted. Instead, what happened is that Peterson got carried away with a rant in that chapter because he's only slumming in these philosophical waters, as a resentful dilettante.
