I'm sure you're right about their intended purpose and the movie may well be worth watching. Either way you look at it, though, the recognition that some people are more popular than others and thus make for more effective salespeople potentially undermines the message of unity, no? The trailer is making use of an obvious social inequality. That's not a major objection or anything, just an amusing oddity.
