I'm not sure who is saying we should go back to the basics, or what the basics would be. I'm saying that committing to secular humanism is harder than it looks since it probably leads to transhumanism. But humanism isn't "basic"; on the contrary, nature's wildness is basic, and humanism revolts against nature.
