I'm not sure I foillow your meaning. We have indeed found that nature is soulless in the sense that it's mindless and inhuman. The civilized response is to create an alternative, artificial reality (civilization), one filled with the very meaning and humanity that were lacking in the wilderness. That process might be terminal, but only if we're stuck on this planet.
