I'm not speculating but generalizing about business culture. If you don't think the celebration of greed and selfishness is prominent in rich countries, and especially in the richest segments of those societies, you're either woefully ignorant or being disingenuous. I don't need to sit down with billionaires to know they care too much about making money and about screwing people over. No one has ever earned billions of dollars in a wholly ethical fashion. That's never happened anywhere on Earth.
