I'm not quite sure what you're suggesting. Are you saying cold weather stimulates dialogue because it forces folks to huddle together behind walls? And with alcohol in the mix, this further stimulates dialogue?
In this series I have an upcoming article on the ice age, and I argue there that cold would have stimulated thought also by challenging early humans to adapt. Necessity's the mother of invention. But extreme heat should also challenge us to adapt. It's just that we seem better at handling cold than hot temperatures.
