I'm not quite clear on the meaning of most of your comment. But I'm not trying to "prove" anything here. It's a question of searching for the best explanation. Given the scientific picture of nature, why should we identify something as parochial as human love with the source of a mostly alien cosmos? This personification is small-minded so it fails even on esoteric religious grounds. More importantly, the platitude fails aesthetically since it's a nauseating, maudlin cliché.
