I'm not offering any dogma here. This article is negative in that it tears down a saccharine, outdated cliché. In some of my other writings I present a positive worldview. For instance, I defend naturalistic pantheism, pragmatic, neo-Kantian epistemology, secular humanistic dualism, transhuman aspirations, and so on.

By saying that some "gods" aren't loving, you're agreeing with the upshot of my article.
