I'm not familiar with Zizek's line of argument on Buddhism, but it sounds similar to what I say about popular Stoicism, and the self-help and happiness industries. These things have a questionable neoliberal underpinning.

There are lots of kinds of Buddhism, though. I'm most interested in the earliest, and presumably the most authentic or pure variety.
