I'm not a panpsychist since I think consciousness is anomalous, given the scientific objectifications of nature.

I haven't heard of that YouTuber, but his view is similar to Sender Spike's on Medium, and I've had numerous debates with him about whether consciousness is ontologically fundamental and omnipresent. That debate is largely epistemological, the question being whether we should emphasize personal experience (which is potentially illusory), or whether we should obey certain epistemic principles which favour naturalism and discount that kind of anthropocentric monism.
