I'm glad to hear you're guilty only of being so desperate for corroborating evidence that you'd turn to a cursory reading of a lame, rabid, Americanized Christian apologist, as though his assessments about anything were reliable.

I did my Ph.D. at Western University of Ontario on naturalistic theories of intentionality, in the philosophy of mind. I write under a pen name, though, so I'd rather not specify my advisor.

I understand the point you're making about the genetic fallacy. But yeah, if you turned out to be a Trumpian Evangelical Christian, your judgment would have been hopelessly impeached in my mind, as an informal matter, and I'd have given you short shrift. There's only so much time in the day.
