I'm familiar with some criticisms of the Never Trumpers. It's a question of rebranding and of making the Republican Party safe for the deep state. Populism can seem too vulgar and democratic, so the Never Trumpers are Burkean in that respect.

I just finished writing the one on George Will, but I leave aside his tie because it's his rhetorical prowess that makes him seem intellectual.

The thing is, I also criticize the Left, but I'm not aware of a viable Medium publication that would publish those articles. A conservative publication would be either unpopular or obnoxious.
