I'm entertaining claims about God for the sake of argument. How else could an atheist talk about theism except by talking about theistic claims, which are claims about God? In just the same way, to talk about Star Wars we might talk about Darth Vader. That doesn't mean we would have to believe that Darth Vader exists.

Otherwise, I'm not sure what you're getting at. But I've written many dozens of articles about atheism, theism, and Christianity in particular. I talk about these problems in multiple ways, and I don't put all my eggs in one basket (or in one article). That's not to say that I contradict myself, if I can help it, but I commit myself to my overall worldview which unfolds over all my writings.
