I'm aware that there are lots of types of games in game theory, although I'm certainly not an expert on game theory or economics.

On a charitable reading, the upshot of my article is that neoliberal (economically orthodox) game theory problematizes the classic liberal's optimism about the economic effects of individualism. The basic prisoner's dilemma punctured the early naïve faith or wish that capitalism would govern itself in an optimal or sustainable fashion.

There's no need to "hate on" capitalism. You just need to describe how capitalism really works, for the critical evaluation to fall out. I suspect that capitalism will keep mutating to preserve the civilizational status quo--gross inequality between a minority of godlike elites and the cattle-like masses--in new forms (such as plutocratic neofeudalism), despite the revolutionary technologies on the way.
